New Music

In September 2023 I got back some recordings of my music from the Mostly Modern Festival at www.mostlymodernprojects.org.
The low resolution is fine for listening online. These cannot be sold, but shared crediting the Mostly Modern Festival, and Bill Taylor as the composer.
Piano Concerto 4th movement, “9-17” (a reading, not a performance, starting at about 14:50. Before that is rehearsal) (Mostly Modern Orchestra, Yun Hao, piano; Mason Lubert conductor) Program notes at https://drive.google.com/…/1oEg3KsdiR4jhmLYdlyq…/view…
Regenerate, Heal, Cool (American Modern Ensemble, Sebastian Serrano-Ayala, conductor: flute, clarinet, bassoon, viola, bass, piano). Program notes and lyrics at https://drive.google.com/…/1p3C9gnTBy5cTLc1WgDB…/view…
24×8 ( 2 pianos, Bill Taylor and Elijah Stevens)

Just above is my contribution to the Lucy mission to the Trojan asteroids that lead and follow Jupiter, using a motif the Lucy team created.  “Lucy Soundscape” is pieces by a number of composers.  #NASALucySoundscape will get you there….

Here is a performance of a piece I was asked to write for the Torrington Symphony;

Eire Alive is one of several other pieces they played; this is my “history of Ireland in 8 and a half minutes”

Two pieces of mine were played at the Mostly Modern Festival in Saratoga Springs, NY in June.  Above are postings.  .

Check Sheet Music Plus and search my name for a number of piano pieces’ sheet music (and a few duets with other instruments) you can buy!  Here is the result of a search I did:    https://www.sheetmusicdirect.com/Search.aspx?query=Bill%20Taylor   which will give you my additions so far, amongst some other music.  Mine will have my name and match the pieces on my albums.

The Home page has audio and scores for two other pieces not yet recorded: Saratoga Salsa for horn, piano and percussion; and Swedish Brass Band Dream for brass quintet.
